I have been a fan of Derby for some time and have always admired the quality and styling. Because of the I was disappoint ed in two important elements on the jacket that were lacking in both quality categories. While I like the feel and soft texture of the jI was expecting something a little more durable, but because of it's character I was able to share ir with my elderly mother who instantly loved the feel and warmth of the jacket. She said" OHH....very nice. So soft." I like the jacket but two elements still are noticeable disappointments. Firstly, the pocket zippers are flimsy and the zipper bangles feel and look cheap. The main zipper is a YYK zipper and I expected YYK zippers on the pockets as well. I find it both a design and application fail. Secondly, the pockets are lined with solid black polyester and not the gold paisley. A design flaw that really irks me as the liners should be consistent throughout the jacket. It's both appearance and continuity. I'm going to keep the jacket regardless but I am hesitant to purchase anything in the future sight unseen. I probably will either make a phone order or in person purchase in the future as I still want more of your product.
